How to use Navy Bean Flour


Navy bean flour can be added to any recipe to give it a nutritional boost. Navy beans provide protein, complex carbohydrates, thiamin, pyridoxine, magnesium, calcium, iron, fiber, potassium, selenium, phosphorous, folate, copper, manganese, and much more. The navy bean is cholesterol free and has less than 1 gram of fat per serving.

The navy bean helps to stabilize blood sugar levels, lowers heart attack risk, boosts immunity and energy, and improves memory.

Replace up to one-half of the flour in any recipe with navy bean flour. Beans combined with grain to form a complete protein which is exceptionally efficient nutrition for the body.

Add navy bean flour to soups as a thickener. Use it to make a bean and vegetable soup. It can be used in bean dips and to make bean burgers. Add a few tablespoons to your favorite smoothie recipe to give it a nutritional boost.

Navy bean flour can also be used in pancake and/or waffle mixes and in cupcakes, cookies, and cakes also.

Navy bean flour is low in fat so it can easily be stored in the pantry for several weeks in an airtight container. However, it can also be refrigerated or frozen for long term use in an airtight container.
